Welcome to my website, my name is Nadine and I’m a cake maker based in Brightlingsea in Essex, where I live with my two children. I have always had a passion for baking, I started when I was a teenager around 14 years old just baking for my family. Then I started baking again in February 2022. The plan was to make my Nan a birthday cake to cheer her up as we sadly lost my great nan in December. Everyone loved the cake and was asking me to make more and to start selling them. 

I then went on to making more cakes for family and friends and then made my Facebook page: cakes by Nadine. 

All my cakes are made from scratch and decorated with buttercream. Everything from Victoria sponges for your afternoon tea, to birthday cakes for kids and everyone in between. To beautiful wedding cakes to top off your special day. 

My business is registered and I am fully insured. I’m just waiting on my food hygiene rating and for my kitchen to be checked!
